The Middle East is an area where cars and truck is king and fuel is inexpensive, frequently leaving little reward to find more environmentally-friendly ways of moving.
But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have actually risen the rate of oil, the issue of discovering alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.
In an area that has one of the greatest carbon footprints on the planet, one company is taking benefit of the growing pressure to discover alternatives to oil. It's set up the Middle East's very first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing lucrative too, already their client-list includes McDonald's.
